New Color Scheme for Dinos!

We are all about custom orders! This customer wanted the Dino banner but in different colors! So this is what it looked like on our Etsy Shop:

Birthday Banner (Dinosaur)

And here is how we adjusted it to fit her party!

We changed the colors of the dinos:

And we changed the color of the background to the letters to green and orange instead of blue and green. We also changed the font so it was easier to see!

Something as simple as changing the colors can make the entire banner look like a whole new creation!

Dance recital

We recently received a really fun and unusual project! Our customer, Jodi owns her own dance studio in Minnesota. She was holding her recital and wanted centerpieces to go with the theme of the dance numbers so she could feature a group photo of her girls.

This was a rush order so in order to get it to her without obscene shipping costs, we offered to send her just the skewers so she could put the centerpiece together herself in whatever item she wanted!

First she wanted our dinosaur centerpiece with an additional spot for a photo and the words "Walk the Dinosaur" and she sent us a picture of the costume so that we could match the centerpiece to it! :)

So without further ado, here is the centerpiece we came up with to match this adorable little outfit!

We then added jeweled embellishments to the picture "frame"

And to the volcano featuring the dance group's initials "PDG" since the costume was very sparkly and fun!

Next up was a slightly older group of hip-hop girls doing a  dance to the song "G-Slide". This was our inspiration and she asked that we create some slides!

Well, I searched and searched and oddly enough there were no slides anywhere for me to cut, so I had to create them myself! It's a little hard to see in the photo, but we used a shimmery silver as the shadow to the slide and in the photo mat.

What a fun project to really stretch our creativity! Thank you SO much to Jodi in Minnesota! We hope she will send us photos of the finished products! :)

Friday Feel the love!

We heard back from our client in Maryland, Angela! Her son Nikolai is having his first birthday party and she ordered some dino themed decorations!

We owe her a BIG thank you too, actually. Amoungst the chaos of twelve concurrent orders, we had our first packaging mix up. We needed to send a package that was very urgent to Florida, but the label got mixed up and this package went to Angela in Maryland, who had already recieved her package. Luckily she was SUPER awesome and took it to the post office that day and overnighted it to our customer in Florida so that she had it in plenty of time for her party! This was such a life saver because Rachel and I worked pretty much non-stop all weekend long to get this big butterfly party done with only a few day turn around window. There was NO WAY we were going to be able to replicate it in time with all of our upcoming June 1st birthday parties. WHEW, thank goodness for Angela!

As our thank you to her, we included two dinosaur signs for Nikolai's party! Here they are!

First is a Welcome Sign:

The second one is a table sign for the activity table she is setting up for the party!

One side says "Nikolai's Activity Center" and the other side says "Don't Be Extinct"!

Here is what Angela had to say about her experience with us:

"AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! AMAZING products!!! I can honestly say that I have never had a better experience buying anything as with these ladies!! I wish all companies ran like this. They care about their product and they care that you are 100% satisfied! They tracked my order and knew when I was suppose to receive it and made sure that I did and that I was completely happy with my products!! They even threw in a few little extras and a sweet thank you card with coupons!!! WOW!!! They go above and beyond and their prices are very reasonable!! It is refreshing to find people like this to do business with!!! My sons birthday party is going to be amazing with the help for RandRcreation!! Thank you!! THANK YOU!!! They even asked if I needed anything else customized before they completed my order and would ship together!!! You ladies are the best example of fast, reliable, affordable, caring, honest business and I will DEFINITELY being using you in the future and recommending you every chance I get!!!! dinosaur centerpiece!

As we mentioned in a previous post, we have created some new party packages for our most popular themes! Each of those packages include a centerpiece, but we didn't have photographic examples of all of them.  Although people can see our other centerpieces such as our Elmo centerpiece and then just picture a dinosaur version instead...... most people don't!

So here is an example of what we could do with a dinosaur theme! We featured our blue and green dinos (colors can be changed!), a volcano with the child's initial and age shadowed and then popped off (of course!)  We could also do the child's name welded on to the volcano instead of the initial and age as well!  We  then welded a "Happy Birthday" to place at the bottom of the centerpiece. Again,  we can have any message at the bottom that you would like!

See our dino centerpiece on Etsy here

As with everything we do at R&R Creations, this is just a taste of what we can do! The sky is the limit and we can make everything and anything we do completely customized to your specific party and needs! :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Packages Make a Great Deal....

Hey Everyone! We just updated some really great package deals! We have a special section on our Esty Shop now for these packages. The Themes we currently have are; Dino, Pirate, Mickey Inspired, Elmo and A Monogram Package! But of course we can do ANYTHING you can think of! Our newest ones are $80.00 and all include the same things:

12 Invites
A Centerpiece
A Birthday Banner (Personalized, of course, with name and age!)
12 Cupcake Toppers (Or Favor Tags if you are doing a cake instead of cupcakes!)

Here are Photos and links to the Packages!

The great thing about this package is that there are two different pirates to choose from! A little boy pirate or an octopus pirate:

This package could also be done in a Minnie Mouse Inspired Theme too!

This package can have a lot of custom changes! Of course the first thing would be the initial for the invites! But we could also change the colors and patterned paper to be whatever you want! The centerpiece could be photos or the name and age, with a cupcake and other party die cuts. This package includes a sign instead of cupcake toppers or Favor tags.

CUPCAKE PARTY!

We have recently added a few party packages to our etsy shop and a lot of them include cupcake toppers. (more on that soon!) We have had the toppers in our head ready to go, but haven't actually sat down and taken pictures of them. So we decided to make today..... CUPCAKE PARTY DAY! (aka we get to play around with some creative ideas and then eat cupcakes afterwards)

We were busy!! Check these babies out!

Butterfly toppers with initial and age to match our butterfly banner

Monster toppers featuring three different googly eyes or we can also include your child's initial and age!  These match our "monster bash" banner.

Dinosaur toppers! Also can include the brontosaurus! This matches our whole dino party!

Of course with all of the love we have gotten from Elmo lately we had to do a set of Elmo toppers! :)

Bumble bee/butterfly toppers! SO CUTE! The bees have pink jeweled embellishments for cheeks! these can also have the initial and age of the child.

OMG, I LOVE these pirate toppers! Of course we had to use a W and a 2 so that we could practice for Wes' 2nd birthday! :)

Mermaid, seahorse (or any other sea creature) and initial, age, or any combination can be done!

Whew! we sure earned our cupcakes! :)

And of course we had to share with the little munchkins for being so good and letting us mommies work like crazy to get these all done!

DIY time!

As you have seen in a recent post, we did a dinosaur party for little Mr. Connor's 1st birthday! The party was this weekend and I took a little DIY time to make our gifts for him extra special. :)

First was a gift bag:

So cute, right?! Here is how I made it:

1. buy a plain colored bag (I bought mine at Target)
2. Cut out letters at 5 inches (I used the Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cartridge)
3. Cut out shadow letters at 5 inches (I used the Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cartridge)
4. Glue together
5. Cut out little character at 4 inches (I used Create a critter cricut cartridge)
6. Glue all parts together.

I then attached them to the bag using 3D pop dots for an awesome 3D effect!

Next was a personalized birthday card:

I used a 5X7 white note card and attached a piece of blue and white polka dot paper left over from doing the decorations for this party.  I then attached another dino (again, from the create a critter cricut cartridge) at 2 inches. The 1 was also from Plantin School book using the "roly poly" setting at 7 inches. Finally I attached another "C" which is the same as the bag above with another 5 inch C. Then of course we popped the little dinosaur with the 3D pops!

I then stamped the inside of the card with a "happy birthday" stamp in royal blue.

SO simple and it doesn't take a whole lot of time to be able to show up at a party super excited and proud of what is in your hand! :)

So take a little DIY time for yourself! :) Pin It Now!

Dino Party

Hello! Thanks for stopping by! Tonight I wanted to share our Dino Party Decorations! We did it all, from the invitation to the goodie bags! We went with a green, blue, orange color scheme! But of course we could do any color combo you like! Here is everything!

First and formost the invite! A dino wearing a party hat??? Couldn't be cuter!

Then the banner!
Blue and green circles with bold white letters, a 1 with a little green leaf with the the letters "st" inside, and dinos on the ends! All strung with bright orange ribbon!

Confetti! We made confetti in the matching colors that had both dinos.

We made a Hanging Door sign with the child's name on it. The best part about the sign is that when the party is over you can hang this on his door! How cute!!!

She also wanted some hanging deocrations so we did double sides leaves with his name on some and his age on others!
The other hanging decorations we did were both dinos on two layers of circles, double sided!

And our special dinosaur hanging 1s

Goodie bags/ Favors: These goodie bag toppers will be stapled to the tops of the bags to seal them shut!We embossed a blue stamped thank you and then attached a dino to it!

12 Month Photo Montage: Here is the dino themed montage. All 12 4x6 photos from birth to age one are backed on orange cardstock.

Attached to each is a small green leaf with the age in blue! Here is a close up of one photo:

The center of the montage has an adorable sign reading "Watch Connor Grow!" and his 12 month photo done in the same way as all the others! The three dinos at the top are growing just like Connor!

So thats the dino party! These items come as a package or individual so you can choose what you want! Custom packages are also available so you can pick and choose!

Love it? Want it? Visit our Etsy shop and message us! Cant wait to hear from you!
