winter ONEderland party!

Brrr........ it really is winter now! Looking out the window of my window while working on three different winter ONEderland parties, I was fully inspired!

How beautiful! A true winter wonderland out there!

First up for little Mikayla's 1st birthday party was a 12 month montage! She wanted to incorporate snow animals rather than our traditional snowman banner. We are always happy to accommodate fun new requests! :)

So we have a penguin.....

 And a polar bear!

Mikayla's mama sent us a copy of the invitation she had ordered so we could match the color scheme.

And we used sparkle white and blue paper along with glitter ribbon for a FULL winter shimmer look!

See our photo banner in our shop here

Next up: A centerpiece!

OMG, I'm in LOOOOOOOOVE with this one!

Personalized with a name

age with 3D shimmer snowflake that pops off of the age

and a 3D Happy birthday sign!

Stay tuned for lots more Winter ONEderland parties to come! :) 'Tis the season! Stay warm!!

XOXO!

Holiday Crafts with Toddlers!

Even though christmas has come and gone, we want to keep sharing the joy and fun of this festive season! Here is an activity we did with the kids before christmas!

You could obviously do this with any shape, not just a christmas tree. :)

Step 1:
Cover the table with paper or table cloth as you WILL get glue on your table! :)

Step 2: provide some kind of shape cut out of cardstock or construction paper. (we can always cut a shape for you if you need our help!)

Step 3: Spread some elmers glue on the shape and give the kids a paint brush so that they can spread the glue. You may need to help them a little bit so that there is glue all over the whole thing.

Step 4: put out a pile of puffs! We got these at Micheals. There was a ton of different sizes and colors in one pack so that was great! One bag could easily work for four kids. Another more economical option would be to use plain white cotton balls. We are going to be doing a snowman craft in our play group at our next playdate and we will use the cotton balls. :)

Step 5: let the kids go crazy placing the puffs on the glue!

All done!! :)

Penguin Invitation!

Our winter ONE-derland theme has been so popular lately! We have done a ton of banners and montages. People are always customizing it to fit their color scheme, and every time we do a new color combination, it
looks better than the last one!

This order was for the winter theme invitations! And...she instead of the snowflakes and snowmen, she asked for penguins! So cute!

We put a little jewel on her bow to add some extra detail to the invite!

Inside we did matching teal to go with the shimmery scarf the penguin is wearing! (Both of which can be any color you want!)

Butterfly Banner: New color scheme!

We just did a birthday package with a butterfly theme. We have done MANY butterfly banners and usually they look more or less the same. This time our colors we very different and made the whole banner look like something completely new!

We used hot pink (like usual), mint and a darker yellow.

For the patterned paper we did yellow and pink stripes and polka dots only! (No plaid)

Her main color was this bold yellow stripe, so we did the cupcakes and butterfly wings with it.
It came out really cute!

We also did matching invitation, thank you notes, cupcake toppers and high chair banner!

Notes By Nine

"Delightfully simple cards for every occasion"
I would like to introduce a new etsy shop owner! Her name is Janine and she loves crafting! She is an art teacher and has many great ideas. She decided to open a shop selling notecards for holidays and every day in between! They are all handmade and excellent quality! (I just got a holiday card from her in the mail and was very impressed!)

She is just starting out but go check out her shop and see what she's got! She also does custom orders, so if you have the vision, she can create it, just ask her!

Ninja Hello Kitty birthday party!

The day has come.... by "baby" is two! As some of our readers know, I come for a family of marital artists, so it was only right that my daughter follow in the family footsteps.

She is also very into Hello Kitty ***grin*** Gee..... I wonder where she got that from? haha!

So I present to you, our readers..... my daughter's NINJA HELLO KITTY party!

My little muchkin wearing the gi (martial arts uniform) I wore when I was hear age!
ON WITH THE PARTY!!!

The main wall! OMG, I am obsessed and so pleased with how this all came out!!!

we took one color and twisted for the middle and the on the ends, did double colors. LOVE how easy it was, but helped to break up a very large wall that clashed with my party colors. I honestly considered repainting the room, but my husband put a stop to that. haha!

We also made these tissue poms and the matching discs to hang with the giant Hello Kitty face.

Cupcake toppers!!! Featuring the Ninja HK, HK bow with "2" and of course it wouldn't be a ninja party without..... Shuriken! (ninja stars)

Personalized favor bags! Pink for girls and white for boys! Inside was a small container of play dough, two small bubble jars, a sheet of stickers and a hand folded origami Shuriken! :) The Hello kitties were popped off with 3D blocks and the back was closed with a label which had a note from Natalie thanking everyone for coming.

The gift table pre-guests!

Hello Kitty banner! complete with tulle and sparkle black ribbon!

Centerpiece for the gift table!

Poms that we made!

The full effect!

Welcome sign with lots of 3D action (of course!)

Hanging decorations on the coat closet as people came in. Tutorial on how to make the discs coming up!

Since we were expecting 30 of Natalie's closest friends (and their parents!) we hired some entertainers to come and sing some songs with an acoustic guitar. They had some creative songs and it was fun for the kids and a nice break for the parents! :)

Since this is her 2nd birthday party, a full NB-24 month montage didn't really make sense, but I wanted to showcase how much she has grown and changed over the last two years. So we made a montage with the word "TRAINING" and added photos of her in her gi from 10 weeks to 2 years old! It was fun to come up with something new and creative!

Costume change!! haha, such a diva. :) Full outfit from a fellow etsy shop!

Who is this little person and what happened to my baby?!?!

Love this little girl!! <3 And she was quite pleased with her loot!

Thank you for letting me share my daughter's big day with you! Another job well done by R&R Creations! :)
