Sunday link of support!

So my husband and I decided to change our lifestyle to one a "primal" one or also very similar to "Paleo" about six months ago.

Basically the idea is to go back to the way we USED to eat and the way we are genetically setup to eat. So......... no processed foods, no grains, LOTS of veggies, meat (except for me, since I'm a veggie), fruits and high fats, but only good, natural sources.

It all started because my husband was researching ways for me to be healthier since I have Rheumatoid arthritis. And he came across this as a suggestion on how to lesson the symptoms. It has helped some, but not quite to the level we had hoped, but.......... the energy we have gained and the weight loss has been a very welcome change! :)

My hubby and I are both down about 25 lbs. each!

yo gabba gabba!

A friend in Tennessee loved the setup of our sailor invite, but wanted to know if we could do a Yo Gabba gabba themed party instead. So of course we were up for the challenge!! :)

So here is our Yo gabba gabba inspired, Muno invitation! :)

We did this invitation vertically so that the Muno would be bigger. Since he is so tall to do this horizontally made him so tiny! And he's just too cute to not have him steal the show! He also features an adorable google eye!

We also included the birthday boy's initial. :)

Here is what the inside of the invitaiton looked like! Come dance, dance and celegrate Penn turning 1!

And  matching thank you notes of course! :)

New Color Scheme for Dinos!

We are all about custom orders! This customer wanted the Dino banner but in different colors! So this is what it looked like on our Etsy Shop:

Birthday Banner (Dinosaur)

And here is how we adjusted it to fit her party!

We changed the colors of the dinos:

And we changed the color of the background to the letters to green and orange instead of blue and green. We also changed the font so it was easier to see!

Something as simple as changing the colors can make the entire banner look like a whole new creation!

Elmo Variety!

Wow! We have done a lot of Elmo centerpieces! I love how we can do such a variety on just ONE character!

We keep the key points the same in all of them.
An initial of the child
their age
and the words happy birthday are a must!

We can put jumping Elmo in the centerpiece...

Or waving Elmo.....

Or just his head...

And think what we could do with a sesame street theme instead of just Elmo! Oh, the possibilities....

elmo party package

We got an order for an Elmo party package from a client in NY. We made some adjustments to the package because there were some things she didn't need in the package and things she wanted which were not in the package! Of course we were more than happy to make these adjustments for her and give her a great package deal!

First, the banner! We upgraded our banner from our original Elmo banner and I must say....I'm loving it!

We did 24 cupcake toppers. 8 ones, 8 A's and 8 Elmo heads.

A centerpiece with the child's name and age, initial, and "Happy Birthday!"

We also did a High Chair banner for her:

And a welcome sign saying "Aiden's Street"

We hope that Aiden has a great first birthday!

Friday feel the love

We had a customer order a butterfly package...

She wanted a bunch of butterfly decorations: Water bottle labels, lollipop tags, favor bags, a sign, and 2 banners! It was a rush to get everything done, but we managed and here is what she had to say about it:

"Thank you Thank you Thank you again. I have never been treated with such kindness and patience. I was able to personalize EVERYTHING for my daughters first birthday party. I ordered on short notice and that was no problem. They made sure everything was to my satisfaction and made sure my order was delivered a day EARLIER than I expected. Everything is detailed and perfect. Very creative and very talented work. I am very pleased with my COUPONS for my next order (which I will def use, or share with friends) and my Thank You note from them was the cherry on top of everything! Thanks again for everything and you patience and kindness was appreciated.. I will send pictures once my party is over."

Mickey Diversification!

Mickey Mickey Mickey! He's our biggest seller! We have come up with a few variations on this banner.

First, our three tiered banner. We use 4 swirly head on the top and bottom rows, and 3 die cuts of mickey in the middle row.

Second, is VERY similar but there are only two rows. There are 2 swirly heads on the top rows and die cuts on the bottom (and on either side of the 1st)

Third, BLUE! we add a blue star patterns paper into the mix. This was done for a little boy named Hunter. His mom loved the banner but wanted it a little more boyish! (It's my favorite!)

Fourth, instead of red square scallops on an angle we used black and white polka dot circle scallops for under the characters!

Whatever you can thing of...we can do! Just ask!

Sesame Street party

We had an order for 4 centerpieces from a client in Texas. She wanted one with Oscar the Grouch, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, and of course Elmo! So here is what we came up with!

See our Oscar centerpiece in our shop here

We made a Sesame Street sign with the child's name on it. We put the his first initial and age and of course Oscar!

See our Cookie Monster centerpiece in our shop here

For cookie monster we welded his name together, and cookie monster holding his age. We added a cute cookie jar too!

See our big bird centerpiece in our shop here

Big bird has a sign saying "Happy 2nd birthday Dylan!" and we put his initial and age as well!

See our Elmo centerpiece in our shop here
This Elmo centerpiece is very similar to one we had already done. We have him holding a sign, Dylan's initial and age and jumping Elmo!

All aboard!

One of our clients in New York City loved our pirate octopus tri fold invitation,

but wanted us to change the little octopus to a sailor. So this was going to take some serious work, but we were up for the challenge! :) After playing around with some of our programs and doing a lot of handcutting, we came up with an adorable little sailor octopus!

This was our first draft for our client: (using the color scheme Navy, light blue, tangerine and white)

She then asked for something a little brighter since it is for her son's 1st birthday party. So we added some light blue polkdot or orange.

This created a slight issue in that the little sailor hat was getting lost in the light polka dot paper. So with a little more playing around and some more hand cutting involved........ we came up with our finished product!

SO CUTE!!

See our Sailor invite on our etsy shop here
And of course we included a matching thank you note too!

Thanks to Charlotte in NYC, we have a whole new line of a party theme to work with! :)
