busy bee!!

Whew! We have B-U-S-Y!!! Or as my daughter now likes to say....... we've been "Busy Bees!" Stay tuned for a lot of our new items and themes we have been working on! They take a lot of time and work to get them just right!! :)

Here is a preview of our to do list.....

Pretty crazy, right??? :) In order to keep ourselves organized, we have broken out the due dates so each page is a week and each week we then go through and mark when each party needs to be sent by. Then we also color coordinated it so the highlighted yellow is Reina and the blue is Rachel!

Whew!!!

Thanks to my super supportive hubby for allowing me to totally take over our dining room! lol! Even our china cabinet has become my storage for all of our etsy materials! Guess it's time to  move so that I get my own crafting office. A girl can dream, right?? :)

But Rachel and I are both still full time stay at home mommies so we have to figure out creative ways to keep a balance between the two! :) This is Natalie's newest favorite spot to be in. She climbs up behind me and hangs on to my shoulders while I work and chatters about what I'm doing and working on.  Hopefully I can help foster her creative side in the future :)

Here she is our "koala" pose <3

Girly Sailor invites!

A little girl is turning 6 and she is having an under the sea themed party! :) So her mama asked us to put together our sailor invitation with some adorable color modifications!

Since she is a girl, our original navy, light blue and orange theme didn't really go....... so she asked for pink, light blue and light green!

So here is what we came up with!

SO CUTE, right??? I was literally grinning ear to ear making these. Even my husband looked over while we were both sitting our at dining room table as I worked on them and remarked how adorable they were. :)

And the inside! We can make the wording say anything! :)

See our sailor invites in our shop here

we can also do matching banner, welcome sign, cupcake toppers, you name it!!

Toddler Time!

I am always looking for new things to do with my son Wes! And on a raining day we decided to do arts and crafts time! All you need for this craft are uncooked noodles, glue, a piece of paper (I used colored construction paper) and a paint brush. I wanted an activity that would work on his fine motor skills, and this did just that!

First, I took his shirt off so we didn't get glue all over it!
Then, I taped newspaper down as his work space.
Next, I poured some glue on the paper and let him use the paint brush to smear it around:

Then, I gave him a pile of noodles, next to hispaper.
I did have to model the goal for him a few times.

Once, he understood what to do, he got down to business!
 (Look at that concentration!)

I helped by adding his name in noodles!
And after a while, I could see he was done with this activity, so here is the final piece!

It currently resides on our fridge!

Mickey Clubhouse!- favor tags

We had a customer order our red, yellow and black Minni Inspired banner, along with our Mickey Clubhouse Welcome Sign. She wanted some cupcake toppers and favor tag die cuts to match, so this is what we came up with!

For her favor tags she wanted 3 inch characters only. She was going to attach them to the gifts with ribbon! We could also put them on scallops with "Thank You" on the back!

monster variation!

Mary, a mama in Indiana asked us to put together a monster party for her son's 1st birthday party. :)

She asked for use to use the same blue as the shadow for the actual invite instead of the black we have used in the past.

We just love the this cute little guy! :) His little googly eye is too much! :)

The sailors are coming to NYC!

Our queen of new themes for parties, Charlotte of NYC sent us photos from her son's first birthday party...... a Sailor theme!! :)

Here is a great shot of the amazing setup that she had! She has some serious talent! :)

We can't take credit for the cake or the banner but wanted to show you how well everything came together and give our readers some design ideas!!!

And here is one of the cute centerpieces we did and the welcome sign!

She also made this amazing "waterfall" around the TV where they played a video of his first year!!

An adorable candy bar with awesome back splash to match! :)

And last, but not least, cute little napkin rings!!!

Thank you to Charlotte for sharing the great pics of her adorable party with us!! :) You did such a great job setting it up and we are just thrilled to see our creations in action!

Yo Gabba Gabba

We made a Yo Gabba Gabba inspired banner, but to make it more gender nuetral we made the letters red instead of pink! The banner was for a boy and girl so red was perfect!

We kept the teal burst with yellow scallops and the characters all the same!

We can make any matching decorations for a Yo Gabba Birthday party too! Like cupcake toppers, signs, centerpieces, invites and anything else you can think of! Just ask!

Mickey's clubhouse- cupcake toppers!

We have been looking for an excuse to do Mickey/Minnie Mouse cupcake toppers and we FINALLY got the chance! :)

The party we did for a mama in Maryland was a Minnie Mouse themed party, but she wanted to include the whole Mickey Mouse club gang! Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto!

see our Mickey/Minnie cupcake toppers here

And you know us, we LOVE to personalize everything so we also added Mickey silhouettes with her age and initial on them!

We can mix and match any of the characters however you like to make this party just what you wanted! :)

Toddler craft time and a sneak peak!

I have been a wee bit OBSESSED with Pinterest lately. And I've been finding lots of fun new activities to do with my 20 month old daughter, Natalie. :) Since I stay home with her and she isn't with the professionals all day, sometimes I feel like I need some help to make sure she is learning everything while being home with her novice mama!

One thing that I really want to focus on with her is developing her imagination and giving her a creative outlet.
So the other day when I was at Micheals and Natalie was getting to the end of her patience (mama can get a little lost in a craft store.......) I had a 'eureka'/ DUH! moment and picked up a pack of stickers.

This was actually her first time playing with stickers, but she got the hang of it pretty quick!  It was so cute, each time I gave her a sticker she would gasp a little with absolute joy! <3

So serious!

Gotta get it juuuuuuuuuuuuuust right!

And the big reveal..................... Natalie's 2nd birthday party theme will be...............

HELLO KITTY!!!!!!! :)

Can't wait!!!! Keep checking back on the progress as we put together her very special day! :)

Sesame Street Goodie Bags!

A customer ordered a few things from us, a few of them we didn't even have listed yet! So we were able to use our creativity and come up with some super cute things!

Here are the goodie bags we made for her. She is having a sesame street party, so we used Cookie Monster, Oscar, Elmo and Big Bird! The "Thanks" was put on red, yellow, blue, green, and orange colored cardstock to really add some color to the bags!

They came out great, especially when you put different colored grass in the bags!

Friday feel the love!

Kendra hired us to do a whole butterfly party for her! A banner, invitations, cupcake toppers and favor tags! :) So also wanted us to have a green polka dot be the main color so we added pink polka dot and purple polka dot to compliment the green! :) So cute!

Here is what she had to say about her experience with us! :)

"RandRcreations exceeded all of my expectations! As a new mother working full time, I want to throw my daughter a super special first birthday party complete with adorable decorations. I have no time to facilitate this, and Reina and Rachel were my super heroes! They understood exactly what I was looking for, hit all of my "deadlines", and have made this birthday celebration extra special thanks to our adorable handmade decorations! I felt like I was working with a friend the entire time. I will use them for the many birthdays to come, and will recommend them to all of my friends. Thanks again RandR for creating our memories! :-)" -Kendra in Las Vegas Pin It Now!
