Friday feel the love!

Kendra hired us to do a whole butterfly party for her! A banner, invitations, cupcake toppers and favor tags! :) So also wanted us to have a green polka dot be the main color so we added pink polka dot and purple polka dot to compliment the green! :) So cute!

Here is what she had to say about her experience with us! :)

"RandRcreations exceeded all of my expectations! As a new mother working full time, I want to throw my daughter a super special first birthday party complete with adorable decorations. I have no time to facilitate this, and Reina and Rachel were my super heroes! They understood exactly what I was looking for, hit all of my "deadlines", and have made this birthday celebration extra special thanks to our adorable handmade decorations! I felt like I was working with a friend the entire time. I will use them for the many birthdays to come, and will recommend them to all of my friends. Thanks again RandR for creating our memories! :-)" -Kendra in Las Vegas

New Mickey banner!

we gave our three tired Mickey banner a makeover! Now on the ends we have our  mickey silhouettes

and we also changed up the paper a little! We added in a blue star paper (also can be substituted with a cute pink polka dot) and an adorable mickey print paper!

We also accentuated the "1st" with a second ring of paper!

Close up on the Mickey paper! :)

The beauty is in the simplicity

We recently had a mama ask us for our butterfly banner, but wanted it to be a little more like....... "simple elegance" So we were happy to take on that challenge! :)

So instead of there being a patterned wing, we stuck with a solid light pink and instead of having four to five different patterned papers as the background of the scallops, we alternated medium and light pink!

Finally, instead of the smiling cupcakes, we used flowers to be the spacers between the words. :)

sports mania!

Kristin a client in Massachusetts who was our original inspiration for space decided she loved her space decorations so much that she ended up framing them and using them as decorations for her son's room! What a great idea! :)

Well now it is time for a new theme in his room and we were so thrilled that she thought of us when it came time!

This time she was looking for a sports theme and asked us to come up with a silhouette style of sports players.  So we have a football player, a basketball player and a baseball player!

Close up! Each silhouette is popped off with 3D Blocks for a deep and detailed look!

We can also do a matching banner, cupcake toppers, etc. Just ask!

Thanks so much to Kristin for another great party theme and we we hope to work with you again soon! And we REALLY hope she will send us photos of the finished product! :)

at last........ a sesame street Highchair banner!!

We recently had a request for a sesame street friends high chair banner to match our sesame street friends banner!

Here is the banner we were matching for her party package for her son's 1st birthday party!

And so here is the matching High chair banner! :)

We used some of the same patterned paper from the banner and the same ribbon to tie it off so it would match seamlessly!

And we popped the letters AND the scallops for a very deep 3D look!

Sunday Link of Support

Looking for a creative greeting card like NO OTHER?!? Then you definetly need to check out this website!

Carol hand makes "pull-up" cards that become a keepsake all their own! The detail and craftmanship is stunning! Check out her website! You can completely customize your card to anything you want! I recieved one for my son's baby shower and was completely blown away!

This one I recieved when my son was born. Instead of peoples faces it had all different animals linked together! On the outside it included all your baby's information: it had his pounds on the scale, the time he was born on the clock, how long he was on the tape measure and his full name in the notebook! Amazing!

She also does beautful artwork!
Photo: I did this drawing while at Martha's Vineyard. Rainy days are good for something. This farm was at the end of our road and it just gave me a peaceful feeling every time I saw it coming and going from the house.

Abby Cadabby goes international!

We recently had our very first international order! A mama in Singapore asked us to do our sesame street friends banner, but to include girly colors and also replace Oscar with Abby Cadabby! We don't usually do international orders, but we have decided that if someone has at least 5 positive feedback  on etsy, we will do it. :) So this was our first shot at serving the whole world!!! :)

Here is a whole banner view:

Not only did we add pink and purple scallops, we also added some pink and purple gingham patterned paper and tons of pink and purple ribbon! SO CUTE!!!

And here is a close up of Abby!! :) Rhea's mama told us that she is terrified of Oscar and that she cries every time she sees him! awwww.......... but she loves Abby, so we were glad we could make Rhea's birthday banner just right for her!

Friday feel the love- Butterfly

We did a birthday package for Brooke's little girl who is turning 1! :)

We did invitations, thank you notes, birthday banner, welcome sign and cupcake toppers! :) AND she wanted everything to be embellished with a jewel for an even more girly look!! So cute!

"Absolutely adorable! I am so glad that I found RandRcreation on Etsy for our daughter's 1st birthday celebration. We knew we wanted to do a butterfly theme and the items that RandRcreation put together for us are exactly what we were hoping for and are so gorgeous! After browsing through their shop, it was obvious that all of their items are adorable however, after receiving our items in-person, we were more than pleased. Everything is that much more adorable in person and the quality is excellent! I will absolutely order from RandRcreation again and am even planning to do so for other special events in the near future. They are so reasonably priced and they are willing ot work with you to meet your budget as well...not to mention, very responsive and easy to communicate with. Thank you for all of your work and for putting together a beautiful butterfly package that I know will make our daughter's 1st birthday one to remember."- Brooke in TN

my pets = my besties!

One of my closest friends all the way back to 7th grade and an avid reader of our blog, Chelsea's nephew, Anderson is turning 1! We were so delighted when she asked us to make a little something special for her Nephew's birthday party! :)

There isn't really a theme for the party, so since Anderson's mama is a vet and baby Andy loves his pets......... we chose a pet theme!

We modeled the dog and cat to look like two of his favorites!

Here is the welcome sign:

see this welcome sign in our shop here

We popped each pet and accessory with the 3D foam blocks and then DOUBLE popped the name so it would really stick out!

And the kitten!

And the matching highchair banner!

I had created the paw prints! I just thought that would be such a cute way to display the words!! :) We could easily do a matching happy birthday banner using the paw prints!

"Kitty!!!" Natalie approves! :)

Thanks to my "twin" (as we call each other--- I mean, come on, can't you see the resemblance??? ha ha!), Chelsea for all of her support and fun new idea for us to stretch our creativity!! :)

polka dot fun for the sesame street friends!

Our once Elmo banner has now turned into our sesame street friends banner which has been QUITE popular lately. Each one with their own spin on it.

Here is one that we recently did! She asked that all of the patterned paper be the same that it be a colorful polka dot! She also asked that we omit the age of her son.

So here is what we did!

Cute and colorful!!

girly pirate

AHOY! The adorable little pirate octopus is back! And he's got a little SISTER! :)

Here is a thank you note we did for a client in Washington state, who's daughter Finley is turning 4!

And here are the invites! She asked us to add an eye pack so we hand cut them and then drew on the band!

Our pop up trifold invite is quite popular! And for good reason! How cute is this?!?? The octopus and the initial pops off the 3D foam squares!

Here is an example of what the inside can look like.

A little Dr. Seuss magic

A good friend of mine has a  daughter named Alaina who is turning 4 years old! Her mama, Julie is a SUPER planner for her daughter's annual birthday bash! She starts planning over a YEAR in advance! So last year around this time, she told me she was doing a Dr. Seuss theme and my gears started turning.

Well, Alaina's party is in October, so I figured I would take advantage of some extra guilt free crafting time I had because the hubs was away on business for the week. :) Besides, I had season 4 of Gilmore girls on DVD from Netflix to get through! I know, I know, I'm like 10 years behind.....
ANYWAY, here is the Dr. Seuss/ Cat in the Hat inspired birthday banner we came up with!

We created a die cut hat from scratch! Most of the other hand made banners I have seen with a Dr. Seuss theme are either print outs, or they bought printed versions at Micheals to use. These are different. :) These have so much detail I can't be more proud of how it turned out!

And we have Thing 1 and Thing 2 in between the birthday year. :)

The letters are popped off with 3D foam squares for a deep look and we alternated red and white tulle to tie off the whole banner!

See our Dr. Seuss banner in our shop here

We hope that little miss Alaina LOVES her birthday banner! Check back in Octoberish for photos from the party! :)

toddler outing- The little Treehouse

We recently took the kiddos out to the Little Treehouse in Chestnut Hill, PA for a little morning fun! We are going to be doing our very first vendor show in November so we had lots of planning to do and and we wanted the kids to be able to run around have fun together too. This was the perfect setup for us!

There are big tables for spreading out and then lots of play room for the kids with lots of toys, Melissa and Doug imaginary toys, dress up clothes, a fun slide AND a small cafe with lots of HEALTHY, ORGANIC and LOCAL ingredient foods!! LOVE!!

These two are such buddies, it's too stinkin' cute!! They have the whole place to run around and LOTS of other little kids to hang out with and they just want to stick right by each other! <3

"Where is Natalie's foot, Wes?"

And of course I saved the BEST for last........

We would highly recommend the Little Tree house to all you local mamas (and papas!) They also have dinner hours on the weekend and it is a BYOB. My hubby and I already took advantage of it one Saturday night with another couple so that we could go on a 'date night' without having to hire a babysitter.  Best of all, admission is free after 5pm with a $10 food purchase! It was the perfect setup! :)
