Packages Make a Great Deal....

Hey Everyone! We just updated some really great package deals! We have a special section on our Esty Shop now for these packages. The Themes we currently have are; Dino, Pirate, Mickey Inspired, Elmo and A Monogram Package! But of course we can do ANYTHING you can think of! Our newest ones are $80.00 and all include the same things:

12 Invites
A Centerpiece
A Birthday Banner (Personalized, of course, with name and age!)
12 Cupcake Toppers (Or Favor Tags if you are doing a cake instead of cupcakes!)

Here are Photos and links to the Packages!

The great thing about this package is that there are two different pirates to choose from! A little boy pirate or an octopus pirate:

This package could also be done in a Minnie Mouse Inspired Theme too!

This package can have a lot of custom changes! Of course the first thing would be the initial for the invites! But we could also change the colors and patterned paper to be whatever you want! The centerpiece could be photos or the name and age, with a cupcake and other party die cuts. This package includes a sign instead of cupcake toppers or Favor tags.

Sunday Link of Support!

So one of the coolest chicks I know is also my partner in this R& R Creations Business: Reina! She is an amazing person full of light and energy! I'm so honored to get to work with her and call her my close friend!

But, unfortunately she suffers from Rheumatoid Arthritis :( She has had this for 4 1/2 years now and even through her flair-up she manages to stay positive for her wonderful daughter, Natalie and her family. She doesn't let it stop her from enjoying her life. She has committed this year to walking in the 2012 5K Arthritis Walk in Philadelphia! If you want to join her or donate to the Arthritis Foundation here is the information.
Every little bit helps!!!!!

CUPCAKE PARTY!

We have recently added a few party packages to our etsy shop and a lot of them include cupcake toppers. (more on that soon!) We have had the toppers in our head ready to go, but haven't actually sat down and taken pictures of them. So we decided to make today..... CUPCAKE PARTY DAY! (aka we get to play around with some creative ideas and then eat cupcakes afterwards)

We were busy!! Check these babies out!

Butterfly toppers with initial and age to match our butterfly banner

Monster toppers featuring three different googly eyes or we can also include your child's initial and age!  These match our "monster bash" banner.

Dinosaur toppers! Also can include the brontosaurus! This matches our whole dino party!

Of course with all of the love we have gotten from Elmo lately we had to do a set of Elmo toppers! :)

Bumble bee/butterfly toppers! SO CUTE! The bees have pink jeweled embellishments for cheeks! these can also have the initial and age of the child.

OMG, I LOVE these pirate toppers! Of course we had to use a W and a 2 so that we could practice for Wes' 2nd birthday! :)

Mermaid, seahorse (or any other sea creature) and initial, age, or any combination can be done!

Whew! we sure earned our cupcakes! :)

And of course we had to share with the little munchkins for being so good and letting us mommies work like crazy to get these all done!

Friday Feel The Love!

We received the most spectacular feedback from Jack's Mommy (The Monster Party)!!!!

She is a Party Producer herself so her standards are pretty high, and she was thrilled with our work! She asked us to create more monsters for her but left the creativity up to us! We always send proofs before we finish the order and she loved everything we showed her. She was a blast to work with and hope to work with her again soon!!! Here is what she had to say:

"I'm an event producer by profession, and although I'm fully capable of designing and making event elements on my own-- sometimes I want to trust my fellow pros to get the job done up to the same standards of the events I do for big-budgeted clients. I sent one- detailed email about my sons upcoming 6th birthday invitations, and within 24 hours I had a mock-up to look at! Although they welcomed changes, I had zero (perfection in the first round!?!? Amazing!)... and the gears started spinning for other party elements I simply didnt have the time for. These gals are professional, creative, prompt and just as excited as I am for our party in June! I can't wait to use them again very soon!"

Then she added even more!

"I wrote a review about the invitations (below)-- but couldn't help myself to offer another amazing RAVING review! I was away on business for a week, and when I got home to my RandRcreation box of invitations, signs and monster cut-outs.. I couldnt wait to tear into the box! I could rave on and on about how cute the items were, and how professionally constructed and packaged they were... but the icing on the cake was the small personal note from these wonderful ladies! It made me feel as though they truly put every bit of motherly TLC into their product that I would-- and for that I can't wait to use them again! Nice job ladies-- can't wait to see how fast your business grows!"-- Faye from New Jersey

Heres that matching Thank You Note again:

Thanks Faye!

Pirate banner!!!

Hello Readers! Here is the final installment of our pirate/mermaid birthday party for little Gryphon & Lilyanna's 1st birthday party! We are pretty excited about his pirate banner!! Take a look!

We went with a star shape for the letters for this banner so it was something completely new! It took some work to figure out how to get the two different stars to fit correctly together, but our work paid off!! :) We then used this cute red and white thick striped paper to finish off this pirate themed banner!

We included a treasure chest between the letters  and an adorable pirate on each end cap!

This pirate of course was made to match our birthday boy who has blond hair and blue eyes. The eyes are done with a jewel embellishment. SUPER CUTE!

Each pirate had a different accessory too! One with sword, another with a pirate flag, another with a treasure map and the final one with a hook. Could it get any cuter?

of course we can change the hair, eyes, even clothes to suit your specific color scheme!

Check out the pirate banner on etsy here

We were so excited to do this party as it gave us TWO NEW themes to work with and stretch our imaginations! Hope you've enjoyed seeing what we've come up with!

As always, thanks for stopping by!

Spring Has Sprung!

It seems that the cuteness is just flowing through our shop these days!! What a cute springtime birthday themed design! Hot Pink and Lime Green colors! Butterflies on the ends and cupcakes between the words!

We made this for a little girl named Katharine's first birthday!!! Katharine's Mommy, a friend of Mama Reina's loved two of our other banners we did for Mary and Ellie so our inspiration came from those two banners plus a requested twist of Lilly Pulitzer!

See the "Lilly Pulitzer" banner on Etsy here
This is one of our more fancy and elaborate  banners! We used Hot Pink scallops with four different kinds of patterned paper. Then we put Hot Pink letters shadowed with Lime Green paper. We made the letters "pop" so they have a 3-D affect! Then we used Lime Green ribbon and White Tulle! So Cute!!!!!

We also made matching cupcake toppers to go with this banner!

Happy 1st Birthday, little Katharine and thanks to her mama for choosing R&R Creations! :)

Under the sea centerpiece!

So this little mermaid is my absolute obsession these days!! My list of "MUST DO" parties for Natalie's birthdays definitely includes a mermaid party! Hopefully she agrees with me as she gets older and has a say in it! haha!

Anyway, let's just say there was quite a bit of squealing and jumping up and down in the house of R&R when we finished these two beauties! Here is the mini mermaid/under the sea centerpiece:

Check this mini centerpiece out on etsy here

This one is perfect if you are looking for a cute extra for your party. What a wonderful focal point on a table or next to the guest book! Plus it looks great in combination with the bigger one in the middle and another mini on the other side! This one includes the personalized sparkly mermaid that was featured in the mermaid banner, the child's initial and age, an underwater friend of your choice and some added seaweed! TOO CUTE!

Next up is the FULL size centerpiece! Now this one is just too darling for words! I rarely share much about our etsy shop on my facebook account because I don't want to overload people, but this one DID get shared, because I just couldn't help myself! :) Featured are the personalized sparkly mermaid with jeweled embellishments, the child's age, a personalized seashell, three underwater friends and seaweed! What an adorable underwater scene!

As with everything we do, colors and even the whole concept can be changed to suit your indivisual needs. We are always looking for new ideas and ways to do things so crafters, please share with us what you have done with a mermaid theme and readers, please send us a challenge! :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Surprises, Surprises are so Fun!

My little brother threw a surprise party for his fiance! She is an amazing person and really deserves it!
....But my brother isn't exactly a "party planner" so he put me in charge of everything! I had complete artistic freedom with the party and I am loving it!

Since it was a surprise I had to wait to post all these photos until after the party! But the Birthday Girl was totally surprised!

I started the design of the party with the birthday banner and made all the decisions based on matching that. So this is the banner:

Then using this design I created the invitations. Her name is Janine so I made a tri -fold that closes with a fancy J. Then I created the wording and inserted it in the inside the flaps. Here's what it looks like:

I got in contact with her mom and she sent me a bunch of photos from when Janine was little. So we created some photo decorations for her!

The first one is of her family. I added the date of when the photo was taken:

The next one is of her and my little brother. Since they are engaged I used their initals (D&J) and their wedding date at the top, then put the word LOVE going down the photos.

Here is the centerpiece. I used some of those photos her mom gave me!

So the party was a huge success! There was tons of food and drink, the weather was beautiful, everyone loved the decorations and had a great time!

Sunday Link of Support & a bonus DIY

Something that all moms struggle with is loosing the baby weight. Rachel & I are no exception to that! Luckily we have both managed to get it all off now and then some! :) yay!!!

My friend Andy is an awesome guy. A truly genuine person who just really makes you feel like you are taking a deep breath of fresh air when you are around him. I love filling my life people like him. :)

And guess what else is awesome about Andy? He has lost 90 pounds so far through diet and exercise! What an inspiration he is!! No gimmicks, just hard work and dedication!

He and I have been cheering each other on by using the app 'My Fitness Pal' as we both work to get in the healthiest condition we can for our families! And I couldn't be prouder of him!

Follow Andy on his quest for health here:
http://bigandysrunning.wordpress.com

For our craft- hungry readers, Andy is also a father to an adorable little girl, Tessa who just turned one! Here is a quick DIY card for your viewing pleasure:

Andy and his wife Jenn decided to have a "you are my sunshine" theme for Tessa's 1st birthday! So I cut out a sun out of the Create a Critter cardridge at 3 inches and then welded the Tessa and shadowed it in Making the Cut using the Ravie font at 4 inches wide.

I then popped the sun off the page with the 3D pops (of course! can't use enough pops!!) and then stamped the inside in pink with "Happy Birthday"

The card is a 6.5 inch X 5 inch card so I cut the cute pink striped paper at 6.25 X 4.74 and then attached it with my Scotch Advanced tape glider.  SO CUTE! and I love giving personalized cards rather than store bought ones now!!

I know having a toddler at home can sure make it difficult to eat right and exercise, but it CAN be done and it's always great to be reminded of that! :) So let's get moving, friends! :)

Elmo montage!

So as some of our readers may remember, little Marcos who is turning one very soon is going to have one decked out Elmo birthday party. Here is one more item that we did for him that we never got a chance to show you!

The montage!!!

Each month has a 4X6 photo backed on red cardstock and has a little Elmo holding a sign with the month number on it. How stinkin' cute!!! It also helps that our little model is super cute as well! :)

The montages are a great way to show off your child's first year! :) we can also do a graduation one or sweet 16, etc. Such a fun way to see your little one grow!

Check out our montages on etsy here
